For a total of 10 months I lived and worked in Israel in two distinct regions of the country. I served the Israeli periphery in the community of Beit Shean. I then worked in South Tel Aviv and assisted refugee and asylum seeking children. Below is the link to the wider MASA community.

AABL was instrumental for championing national affirmative action policies. Their legacy at the University of Houston solidified the institution’s continued emphasis on diversity and inclusion. My research indexing AABL content in the Daily Cougars has been vital to several scholars in exhibits and used in a student-created documentary film.
